The AgSkilled strategy is based around four key training pillars; safety, production, technology and business. Training can be tailored to suit individual business needs, and can be designed to suit learners with a range of skills and experience, from farm owners through to new industry entrants.
AgSkilled is administered under NSWs Smart & Skilled program. AgSkilled can subsidise the cost of Full Qualifications (Cert I - Advanced Diploma) on the NSW Skills List and fully subsidise the cost of some Part Qualifications (units taken from full qualifications, from one up to half of a full qualification). The NSW Skills List covers an incredibly broad range of training, for training currently on offer, see the 'Training Options' page.
The NSW Skills list is reviewed and updated annually, if there’s a qualification you require to improve the productivity and profitability of your cotton or grains business but it is not on the NSW Skills list please notify the AgSkilled Project Officer.
