on-farm business management

This course is delivered by TAFE and will provide the participants with the skills and knowledge to be able to confidently market commodities, better control business risks and relationships, perform computerised bookkeeping, manage payroll, superannuation, budgeting, and business tax & GST compliance matters. This training will provide participants with the necessary skills to support operating a business and/or employment in the cotton and grains industries.

WHO IS THIS COURSE DESIGNED FOR?

People supporting the business operations of cotton and/or grains properties including farmers and farm managers.

DELIVERY

This course is delivered as one face-to-face workshop per month, for 6 months. Online support and flexible delivery arrangements are available.

  • FNSACC406 Setup and operate a computerised accounting system

  • FNSBKG405 Establish and maintain a Payroll system

  • FNSACC402 Prepare operational budgets
