GROW (Generating Regionally Outstanding Women)

 

GROW (Generating Regionally Outstanding Women) is a professional development program for female leaders and emerging leaders (or those who would like to be) in the NSW cotton, grains, rice, production horticulture and viticulture industries.


This course is designed for leaders and emerging leaders looking to develop skills in:

  • Time management, planning and organization

  • Elite communication and networking to position yourself as a leader andinfluencer in your business and community

  • Management of teams and staff and meeting Industrial Relations requirements

  • Understanding and managing work health and safety in your business


Delivery & Duration

This course will be delivered using a blend of face to face and online training, completed over a 6-month time frame. Participants will complete activities in an engaging and mentored environment and need to be able to commit to 2 one-day face to face workshops, as well as weekly webinars from February to May. Webinars will be recorded for those who are unable to attend the live session each week.

*A reasonable level of computer literacy and internet connection is required to navigate around the user-friendly online environment Canvas.

  • BSBREL401 Establish networks

  • BSBSMB414 Time management for small business

  • BSBWHS401 Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs to meet legislative requirements

  • AHCWRK403 Supervise work routines and staff performance

  • AHCBUS501 Manage staff


Entry Requirements 

GROW is a program for business owners and managers who have a minimum of 5 years experience in the workplace and have delegation over the WHS and HR systems of business. 


Accredited Training

This course is developed and delivered by Tocal College (RTO91166).
