ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?

AgSkilled supported training was available to those with a genuine interest in the NSW Cotton or Grain industries. This included producers, farm staff, contractors, jobseekers and some industry professionals.  

AgSkilled required participants were:

• 15 years old or over

• no longer at school

• living or working in NSW

• an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen

• had a genuine interest* in the NSW Cotton or Grains industry

  *(those seeking to complete AgSkilled training to gain employment in either industry needed to provide the support of a future employer). Training for ‘general interest’ was not supported.

Eligibility was not affected if you had completed a vocational education and training (VET) course, including a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship, as part of your high school education.
