Advanced Spray Application Training

This course is delivered by Tocal College in partnership with Craig Day of Spray Safe and Save. It has been developed to address the ongoing problem of spray drift and off-target crop damage. As cropping spreads throughout NSW, farmers are increasingly being challenged to manage spray application processes ensuring no impact of neighbouring crops within their region.

Who is this course designed for?

This course is designed for experiences spray applicators.

Delivery

Blended delivery. 1 day face-to-face workshop, followed by a workplace visit.

Units of Competency

  • AHCCHM303 - Prepare and apply chemicals

  • AHCCHM304 - Transport and store chemicals

  • AHCWRK302 - Monitor weather conditions

  • AHCMOM15 - Operate chemical application machinery and equipment

When and Where?

Courses have been delivered across NSW’s grain and cotton growing regions from North Star to Finley, and over 25 locations in between.
